Lizzie is a freelance creative producer with a diverse portfolio of roles including science writer and editor, public programmes producer and factual television producer.
Lizzie started her career working in specialist factual television production, working on science documentaries for the BBC (The One Show, What Darwin Didn’t Know) and Channel 4 (Inside Incredible Athletes, The Secret Life of Buildings).
Since returning to complete her MSc in Science Communications, Lizzie has been researching, developing and producing content across a variety of media and formats for a range of employers including the Wellcome Trust, BBC and University College London.
Recent projects include Producer at BBC World News’ Health Check, where she commissioned, produced and occasionally presented short films and programmes as well as wrote feature articles. She is Producer of Science Presenter Greg Foot’s first nationwide tour.
Lizzie currently works as Season Producer for Science Gallery London, where she is project managing and creatively overseeing art science collaborations, which will result in a programme of workshops, installations, activities and performances for their MOUTHY season.Lizzie received her undergraduate degree in Physiology from Oxford University and MSc in Science Communications from Imperial College London.
